Meet Joseph Vespe, PA-C, DSc
Joe Vespe was born and raised in Las Vegas enlisting in Army at the age of 18 as a Combat Medic. After 20 years of service, he has spent 12 years in Central Texas where he has retired in San Antonio. He received his Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from UNMC in 2015. As an Army PA he worked with the Cavalry at Fort Hood/Cavasos and in South Korea. In 2018 he completed certification as an Aeromedical PA and worked with the Air Cavalry as part of the Defense of CBRN Response Force and Defense Support of Civil Authorities missions. Following this, he completed a fellowship in Orthopedics earning his Doctorate in Physician Assistant Studies from Baylor University in 2021 where he worked in Orthopedics at the Brooke Army Medical Center. His focus areas in Pain medicine include ultrasound and fluoroscopic guided injections as well as multimodal holistic care. Joe lives in Stone Oak with his fiancé and their 3 children, Alex, Zoey, and Lucas.
