Meet Rand Murphey, FNP-C
Rand Murphey is a Clinical Nurse Practitioner. He received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from UT Arlington magna cum laude and then his Masters in Science of Nursing from UT Arlington completing his clinical training within the University Health system. Rand is credentialed by American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Prior to joining the Tricity Pain Associates team He worked in Primary care with the geriatric population. Rand has multiple decades of work in interventional radiology in a teaching hospital setting. He is passionate about collaborating with patients maximizing their health and functionality in alignment with their personal goals.
Rand grew up in the pacific northwest but moved to Texas as soon as he could, in 1989. He and his wife raised their two daughters in Helotes Texas. Rand and his wife now live in a slice of hill country heaven, south west of Boerne Texas, where he and his wife keep chickens and bees. He loves spending time with his wife, daughters and grandchildren, barbecuing and fishing.
